Richard John Hunt (also known as MoeGeeMoe) is a Houston, Texas-based fine art photographer who graduated cum laude from Sam Houston State University with a B.F.A. in Photography in December of 2026. Richard works with both digital and film photography and uses mixed media for unique framing and displays of his artworks. He is currently exploring themes of addictive comfort through his use of black satin as a symbol, researching and deconstructing the concept of the strip mall as a barometer for capitalism, consumerism, and community, and making abstract expressionistic photography of man-made materials. Richard is currently applying to attend grad school in order to become a professor of photography.
